Cures or Seals

What are the Cures or Seals?

Are those procedures that seek to restore the integrity of the tooth when for various reasons it has been altered in the functional and structural biological aspect. The procedures to be performed are: Seals (cures) with light-cured resins, replacement of amalgams with resins, reconstruction of fractured parts.

For this purpose it is made use of diverse materials among which we have the resins which have the advantage of being of the color of the tooth, eliminating the dark color of the amalgams that were once placed.

What are the advantages?

The advantages obtained are that they are performed in a single session, you can eat immediately after it is done, unless local anesthetic is used, it must be postponed until after 3 hours because of the risk of biting the lip or cheek.

Another advantage is the aesthetic, you will not see that dark color that dulls the smile and on the other hand is that they are quite durable and resistant.
