Dental Veneers

What are dental veneers?

Veneers are a conservative method of recovering dental aesthetics. In some cases, the preparation of the tooth structure is not necessary.

For that purpose changes are made in the shape, color and position for later and in a short time have a nice smile, clearer and brighter.

They are indicated for the following cases:

  • Darkened teeth that can not be rinsed with conventional whitening.
  • Unsightly, overflowing, broad and pigmented cures.
  • Minimal dental fractures.
  • Positional anomalies, especially with lateral teeth that are in posterior positions or locked in the anterior sector.

How do we place the Dental Veneers?

The material to be used in the manufacture of the veneers is porcelain, material that par excellence should show off in the previous sector.

The clinical procedure consists in making the correct diagnosis to later go to an appointment of dental preparation, molds and provisionals and in the subsequent session the installation of the veneers is performed. The change is basically obtained in two sessions of visit by the patient.
