Prostheses: Crowns and Bridges

What are crowns and bridges?

The crowns are prosthetic attachments that are attached to the tooth permanently and fixedly. Bridges are the addition of crowns that go together in the absence of missing pieces. They are treatment alternatives for dental pieces that have suffered dental decay, fractures or after endodontic treatments, to recover function, form and function.

The crowns currently offer a very beautiful aesthetic, compatible with the natural tooth structure. Through them you can perform comprehensive oral rehabilitation, giving the patient the recovery of the smile by changing the color, shape and dental position renewed.

Partial and removable prosthesis

The partial prosthesis is a prosthetic attachment that has the purpose of rehabilitating some missing pieces and that for various reasons can not be rehabilitated by means of crowns or bridges. A long time ago they were made with unsightly retainers that surrounded the teeth.

Attaches or “snaps” are currently used, which make the use of conventional retainers unnecessary, in such a way that an aesthetic is provided and on the other hand comfort to the patient since it is practically not moving.

Total prosthesis

It is the prosthetic alternative for total edentulous patients or those patients who have lost all of their teeth. In the same way, they are manufactured to restore function and aesthetics to the patient.
